PUBG Mobile had made two big announcements in December 2020, that further aided in boosting hopes of PUBG India fans higher. Parent company Krafton Inc had also recently appointed Aneesh Aravind as new country manager for India. indicating that things were moving fast.

Since then, Krafton Inc has got more people on board by inducting four more people to the team. Notably, these four people were part of Tencent, the company responsible for rights for PUBG Mobile's Global version.

Also, notably, FAU-G (Fearless and United Guards) is all set to launch by January 26. That means, this desi app will get a head-start on PUBG Mobile, which will likely lose plenty of ground in the gaming market.

Meanwhile, FAU-G (Fearless and United Guards) which was initially scheduled to launch by December in 2020, will now release in India on January 26. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar shared the FAU-G Anthem along with the pre-registration link.

FAUG is an action game while PUBG Mobile India is a battle royale game. FAUG is reportedly based on real incidents on the Galwan Valley, but PUBG Mobile’s setting is not based on anything except imagination. FAUG’s data centre will be in India since it is a Made in India product, but PUBG Mobile data centre is abroad.

FAU-G is created by NCore Games and is also associated with another Akshay Kumar initiative Bharat Ke Veer which is a fundraiser for the families of the martyred soldiers.
