As PUBG fans continue to wait for the launch of PUBG Mobile India app, they must know two major developments concerning the hugely popular Battle Royale Games of the app. It has come to the fore that miscreants are trying to take advantage of innocent users. In shocking revelation, it has been revealed that fake APK files of the game have surfaced on the internet and also a report suggested that PUBG Mobile India might make a major announcement regarding it around December 25.

As per Zee News, after the announcement on November 12, many download links have surfaced on the internet. But it is to be noted that PUBG Mobile India is yet to released officially which means that all such APK files present on the Internet are fake.  

Gamers should not download or install such files and they must wait for the release of the APK files of PUBG Mobile India by official handle of the popular gaming app.  

It is likely that these links could cause significant harm to the player's devices and it could be malware disguised as a fake APK file.  

Meanwhile, amidst numerous claims and speculation of PUBG Mobile India launch, a Sportskeeda report states a prominent Indian gamer by the Twitter handle of @RealMaxtern as stating that PUBG Mobile India might make a major announcement on December 25 i.e. on Christmas Day.    
The latest PUBG Mobile India report comes at a time when India's apex child rights body NCPCR has said it will not be appropriate to relaunch popular gaming app PUBG in the country until legislations are in place for such online games.  

PUBG Mobile was among 118 Chinese mobile applications banned by the government in September this year. The government had said these apps "are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order".
