PUBG vs FAU-G Game: PUBG Mobile India rival Fearless and United Guards or FAUG mobile game was launched on January 26 in India.  Within in few days after the launch, this multiplayer action game has managed to garner more than five million downloads on Google Play store. The game has also become the top free game app on Google Play store. Meanwhile, PUBG Mobile India game and 118 other Chinese apps are banned in India due to the national security concerns and the rising anti-China sentiments in the country.

So far, nCore Games, game developers, released just the first version of the FAUG mobile game, more updates will be added to the action game in the days to come. The company previously confirmed to bring a battle royale mode, among others in the days to come.

FAUG mobile game has been launched in three languages including English, Hindi and Tamil. nCore Games Founder Vishal Gondal had said that more language support will be coming to FAUG soon.

Since, it is similar to PUBG in many ways, a first-person multiplayer shooting game, but the game modes, the locations, themes and the graphics of the two games are starkly different, the dnaindia.com reported.

Mode: Those who have played and followed the PUBG game religiously, they are aware of the Battle Royale Game, which became the most popular mode of the game, but it had a lot of sub-variants. There were five arena modes in PUBG which included Domination, Arena Training, Team Deathmatch, Assault, and Gun Game. And the gamers used to fight it either alone on in groups of two or four.

While FAUG, has three modes ‘Tales from The Galwan Valley’, ‘Team Deathmatch’, and ‘Free For All'. However, only the Tales from Galwan Valley is available currently , that too with just a single player. Other two have 'Coming Soon' written on them, the DNA India reported.

Location:  FAUG is set in Galwan Valley, the site of recent clashes between India and China along the LAC, PUBG had imaginary locations with hills, forests and urban areas as the backdrops. PUBG gave options to the users of selecting from five Maps different from each other. These are maps with imaginary names such as Erangel Map, Miramar Map, Sanhok Map, Vikendi Map, and Karakin Map.

Availability: While PUBG Mobile, after GoI's response to an RTI, is available in India with Korean version, which received an update a few weeks ago. However, the users can't transfer their existing IDs to the Kr version, since it's an altogether different but a popular version, designed specifically for Korea and Japan. FAUG's version 1.0 is available with just Galwan Valley mode currently, as other two are expected to roll out soon, as the popularity of the game grows on.
