In a bid to give more privacy to the users on its platform, WhatsApp recently rolled out new functionality that allows them to hide online status and display picture from everyone.

How to hide WhatsApp DP from specific contacts: Here are the steps that you can follow to hide your WhatsApp DP from particular contacts on the platform.
These steps are applicable for both iOS and Android users.
- Open the WhatsApp app and tap on the three vertical dots in the top right corner
- Settings>Account> Privacy>Profile Picture
- Now tap on the “My Contacts Except…”
- Now select contacts that you want to hide your DP from-
Tap on “Done” in the top right corner
