Introduced a few years back, WhatsApp Stickers have become highly popular, especially for festivals. You can now download and send WhatsApp’s Diwali stickers, in just a few simple steps. 

Animated Stickers: Stickers are one of the fastest-growing ways people communicate on WhatsApp, with billions sent every day. WhatsApp recently rolled out animated sticker packs as, a more fun and expressive way to communicate. Here’s how: 

o    Start by making sure your WhatsApp is up to date 

o    Open a chat > click on the sticker icon (for iOS this is located on the right side of the text bar. For Android, the stickers icon is next to the GIF option) 

o    Next, tap the ‘plus’ icon and then simply select the packs you’d like to download. 

o    All sticker packs with a video icon by them, are animated sticker packs. 

Personalised Stickers: This Diwali you can take your sticker-game a step further, and create a personalised sticker pack on WhatsApp. Here’s how:  

WhatsApp provides sample apps and code for both Android and iOS, so you can simply drop in your sticker art and build an app with minimal development or coding experience. You can learn more about the process here. 

Third-party Sticker Packs: Third-party Diwali Sticker Packs on WhatsApp are all things bright and colourful. There is something for everyone, even the minimalist in you. There is so much to choose from, so get scrolling and pick your favourites. Here’s how: 

o    Open a chat > tap emoji > stickers 

o    Search for Diwali WhatsApp stickers and install the sticker pack of your choice 

o    A green checkmark will appear once the download is complete. Tap Back 

o    Once done head back to your chat and get sending! 

Note: While iOS users can’t download third-party sticker packs on WhatsApp, they can, however, save any sticker received in a chat to their favourites.
