Facebook down: The Meta-owned social media service Facebook is reportedly down in many parts of India and globally. Many users took to micro-blogging site  Twitter and said that they are facing issues while logging into the platform’s Creator Studio and Ads Manager services.

On the website status tracker Downdetector, outage reports connected to Facebook is seeing a sudden spike, starting at around 10 am IST. The website showed that most of the outage reports were from Mumbai and Delhi. Facebook Creator Studio is designed to help creators manage posts, insights, and messages on their pages. Ads Manager, as the name suggests, helps is a tool that helps users build and manage ads while managing their accounts.

 

Several users took to Twitter to complain about login issues on Facebook. a user tweeted from his handle: "Facebook ad's manager is down. Anyone know why Facebook makes it so hard to give them money?"

"Anyone else’s Facebook messenger down?," another user wrote. "In middle of building out a massive campaign & ads manager goes down" a user said in a tweet. "Entered Facebook Ads Manager, but can't access it because of an error, also me: runs to Twitter to check if i'm alone," another user commented.

"Facebook was yet to comment on what caused this outage. In October this year, Facebook was unavailable to roughly 3.5 billion users in the world for six hours. The outage also moved traffic to other social media applications and websites like Signal and Twitter that saw a surge in users by 140 times and seven times respectively. Video streaming platforms such as YouTube and Jio Play also saw a surge in traffic -- up by 30 times and 20 times respectively," IANS reported.
