The BharatPeSwipe Android terminal is designed to simplify payment acceptance for merchants. It integrates with the BharatPe merchant app and offers an intuitive interface for instant settlements and transaction reconciliation. The device enables merchants to accept QR payments using dynamic QR codes generated on the terminal itself. Additionally, it can produce physical receipts for QR-based transactions.

Nalin Negi, the CFO and interim CEO of BharatPe, highlighted that this new addition to their product lineup aims to provide merchants with a seamless and secure payment experience. The company's goal is to cater to a wide range of merchants, including small businesses.

The terminal includes a merchant dashboard that facilitates efficient transaction and settlement management. Merchants can customize the dashboard to suit their specific needs. BharatPe also plans to offer its existing merchants the option to upgrade from their Linux-based POS devices to the new Android POS device.

BharatPe aims to expand its POS network by doubling its count over the next year with the launch of BharatPeSwipe Android. The company already operates a network of over 200,000 POS machines across more than 400 cities. Sandeep Indurkar, the Chief Business Officer-Banking and Alliances at BharatPe, expressed optimism about the growth of the POS category, particularly in tier 2 and 3 cities.

Currently serving 100 million merchants, BharatPe processes an impressive volume of over 300 million UPI transactions each month. The introduction of the BharatPeSwipe Android PoS terminal is expected to contribute to the company's ongoing success and expansion within the fintech industry.
