The most recent addition to the platform is "Kalakaar" an inbuilt short video sharing platform where creators, trendsetters and businesses can upload and share short videos.

Novel to the platform is its marketplace. Supporting only India based brands and businesses with permission to buy and sell on their platform.

Moreover, the platform accommodates the sales money until the service or product is fulfilled, guaranteeing sellers do not cheat the buyer. With the launch of business profiles, the app plans to encourage local businesses and trade by giving those members and businesses a credit of free ad money up to a specific limit. Members can select which companies they want to promote and focus on.

Mr Neeraj Singh Bisht has mentioned that the principal purpose behind creating the app is to make India self-reliant when it comes to social networking in a digital space and ensures the security of Indians in a digital space. Therefore, Bharatam does not associate with any third-party applications that access the users' data through other social media platforms and applications. Hence, ensuring the security and privacy of their members stays safe and secure when they use Bharatam to share and interact with their digital community.

The app also aims at getting more and more individuals employed within the country. Businesses can place ads for job openings and interact with the prospective employee on Bharatam.

Not only can members share fun content and interact. Bharatam also offers people the chance to raise funds and involve the community in donating for a noble cause. Built for the community to help enhance the community, Mr Neeraj Singh Bisht believes the app will help India become truly independent on a digital platform.

Currently available in the play store and soon to launch its IOS compatible version, the Bharatam app will be accessible on all smartphones. Within Bharatam, the app, members can customise their profile to highlight their personage. In addition, they can select from over fifteen different Indian dialects that are synced with their phone as well.

With over 11,000 downloads since its launch on 24th July 2021, Bharatam hopes to have over 50 million unique members by 2025.

With an initial bootstrap investment of 8 to 10 lacs, the app is constantly publishing and experimenting with more features that can be added to further enhance its members' online community and method of interacting with their friends and family.
