Apple iOS 16 beta 4: The US-based tech giant Apple recently released the fourth version of iOS develop beta. The latest version brings more iOS 16 features on the iPhone for beta testers. Public beta testers who have signed up for Apple's free beta testing program can download the second iOS 16 beta after installing the proper certificate from the Public Beta website, the MacRumors reported.
The Apple iOS 16 public beta is compatible with iPhone 13 series, iPhone 12 series, iPhone 11 series, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone SE 2nd generation . The iPhone 14 series will come with the stable version of iOS 16 out-of-the-box.
Interested users can sign up for Apple's Beta Software Programme and download the new betas from the associated web portal.
According to the report, there are updates to the iMessage edit/undo send features, enhanced Lock screen notification settings, new Home app and CarPlay wallpapers, and more. Apple has also released an ActivityKit beta for developers to test the Live Activities feature.

The Messages app supports editing and deleting messages as well as marking messages unread. SharePlay is no longer limited to FaceTime, so Messages can be used for communication between people sharing content with one another. FaceTime calls can be handed off from one device to another, and the Health app gains a new Medications feature for tracking the vitamins and medicine that you take.
Apple is replacing passwords with Passkeys, and Safari now supports Shared Tab Groups for collaborating. In the Mail app, you can schedule emails, cancel sending, and receive follow-up reminders, and the Maps app supports multi-stop routing.
