Additionally, Prime Lite members will enjoy streaming unlimited videos, movies, and TV shows from India and overseas as well. However, the number of streaming devices can only be two with HD quality. However, under the plan users will also have to watch ads on Amazon Prime Video.

Other than that, members of Amazon Prime Lite can have early access to amazing deals on the Amazon India website.

How to sign up for Amazon Prime Lite

The Amazon Prime Lite plan is available for Rs 999 annually on the Amazon app or website. One can choose any of the platforms, as the app is available on both Android and iOS devices. Anyone who was not a member earlier can also subscribe to the new and feasible version of Amazon Premium Membership.

Amazon Prime vs. Amazon Prime Lite

Apart from the difference in pricing, Amazon Prime Lite has been introduced with some fewer benefits than Prime membership. It does not come with access to Amazon Music, Prime Reading, Prime Gaming, or Prime Advantage benefits. However, under Prime Advantage benefits, users can get no-cost EMI on purchase of smartphones and up to 6-months of free screen replacement on certain devices.

According to Amazon India, Prime Lite subscribers will not be able to access Amazon Video on the web. Besides that, the users will only get two devices with HD quality whereas Amazon Prime subscribers can stream content in up to 4K resolution on up to 4 devices.
