Bihar government provides seed funding up to Rs 10 lakh
As per the industry department of Bihar, the state government launched the Bihar Startup Policy in 2022 to encourage people with innovation and new ideas.
The policy has a special capital seed funding-related provision for women, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and physically challenged people.
They will get more money
The purpose of the Bihar Startup Policy 2022 is to provide employment and develop entrepreneurship among youth.
Female entrepreneurs will get seed funding of Rs 10.50 lakh instead of Rs 10 lakh, a five per cent increment.
SCs, STs, and physically challenged, will get seed funding of Rs 11.50 lakh, a 15 per cent increment.
Documents to be submitted
Online applicants for the Bihar Startup Policy 2022 have to submit the necessary documents.
In the documents, one has to provide the details of their email ID, Aadhaar-linked mobile number, passport-size photos, and submit the self-attested photocopies of the balance sheet, Aadhaar card, PAN card, education qualification certificates, and the startup unit (if it is registered).
The photocopy of the caste certificate is also mandatory (not for general category applicants).
