Arpi Mehta Shah, its co-founder and chief executive, said that the newly raised funds are going to be used to build a team that will help the company expand into newer geographical and product categories.

Since its inception, the company says it has performed 'smile makeovers' for 1.4 lakh customers.

The company plans to provide doctor-directed solutions for cosmetic dentistry and dermatology under one roof, Shah said. There is also a sister brand called 'Skinnsi' that provides at-home laser-assisted cosmetology services.

In the last few months, it has introduced self-care products like a teeth whitening and oral hygiene product line.

The company has 2,000 dental centres on its network, and it plans to expand to Tier-II cities in the near future, according to a statement.

As of January 2021, the company had raised USD 5 million and another USD 20 million by the end of the year.
