The Great Indian Festival Sale: Amazon announces Buy now, pay next year offer
For non-members Amazon The Great Indian Festival sale will begin from 12 am on September 21 up to 11:59 pm on September 24.
E-commerce major Amazon India has kicked off the Great Indian Festival sale for the Amazon Prime members from today at 12 noon. For non-members the sale will begin from 12 am on September 21 up to 11:59 pm on September 24.
Manish Tiwary, Vice President - Category Management, Amazon India said, "Amazon.in customers are in for a treat like never before! With our Great Indian Sale, we are excited to bring together fantastic deals from thousands of brands and sellers across a vast selection of products in all types of product categories."
Ahead of mega sale, the company on Tuesday announced another offer "Buy now, pay next year" to attract more customers.
This new offer will be available to HDFC Bank credit card holders for the purchases made during the on-going sale. However, the customers will have to pay the installments from beginning of January 2018.
"Buy Now, Pay next year - Customers who transact on HDFC credit cards and use the EMI option on 3 months or 6 months tenures, get a three month EMI holiday," the company said in a release.
Amazon has partnered with 11 banks and Bajaj Finance service to offer a range of discounts including EMIs and cashback.
Moreover, the company in a release said that the customers can save more with 10% cashback on topping up Amazon Pay balance up to Rs 5,000 and 10% cashback on purchases above Rs 5,000 using HDFC credit and debit cards.
Further, the company is also offering "No cost EMI" offer. Which means, customers can opt for EMI at no additional cost under a “No Cost EMI” program across products in consumer durables, appliances and smartphones.
Also, 10 Lucky customers who shop on the Amazon.in App stand to win 1 year of free travel worth Rs 1.5 lakhs from Yatra.
On the exchange offer front, the company in the release mentioned that customers can now exchange their old mobiles to get discounts on not only mobile purchases but also on purchases in other categories such as Washing Machines, Refrigerators, TVs, Laptops, Tablets, ACs.
