UAN Registration: Universal Account Number or UAN is a unique identification number allotted to each and every member of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation. UAN is a 12-digit number issued by the EPFO. The UAN will act as an umbrella for the multiple Member Ids allotted to an individual by different establishments. A member can use EPFO’s online services with their UAN, including e-nomination and checking the EPFO balance. EPFO account holders can have only one UAN during their service time where all EPF accounts are linked. EPFO holders can generate UAN and activate it online through the UAN Member Portal.
