If you are an SBI customer, the State Bank of India has very important update for you. This is related to internet banking and other services offered by the India's largest public lender SBI. The state Bank of India will be undertaking a maintenance exercise that will impact the availability of certain services tomorrow, July 4, 2021.

SBI customers should know that the State Bank of India is undertaking maintenance activities tomorrow between 3:25 pm and 5:50 pm. SBI services such as Internet banking, YONO, YONO Lite, UPI will remain unavailable during these hours.  

Taking to the micro blogging site Twitter to inform its customers, SBI posted," Important Notice! We will be undertaking maintenance activities between 03:25 hrs and 05:50 hrs on 04.07.2021. During this period, internet Banking/YONO/YONO Lite/UPI will be unavailable. We regret the inconvenience caused and request you to bear with us." 

It further urged SBI customers to bear with the bank as these are routine exercise and the leading public sector bank often takes these activities to improve its service.  "We request our esteemed customers to bear with us as we strive to provide a better banking experience." 

The State Bank of India informs its customers in advance to ensure that they do not get hassled in the absence of information. It also frequently keeps warning its customers against online fraud and cybercrimes to make sure that they do not lose their hard-earned money.   

SBI new cash withdrawal rule 

Meanwhile, SBI customers should also know that they can now only access four free cash withdrawals from the bank’s ATM/bank branches in a month. They will be charged a processing fee of Rs. 15 plus GST on each transaction thereafter as per the new rule. The rules have come into effect from July 1, 2021, itself. Also, SBI Basic Saving Bank Deposit (BSBD) account holders will have to bear charges for cheque books beyond 10 leaves in a year.
