SBI Internet Banking: On some rare occasions, netbanking customers find their account not reflecting the current bank account balance. If you are an SBI Internet Banking customer and facing the same issue, then don't panic. Your account may not be reflecting the current balance because of a technical problem and it may start reflecting the current balance in some time. The SBI official website points out two possible reasons:

- "Due to some technical problem data from this branch is not coming. It may take some time to rectify the problem."

- "Due to technical problem data for your account has not been received at web centre". 

The bank advises netbanking customers to ask his/her branch to resend data for your account.

In case, you are unable to transfer funds online, it may be because the bank has not yet provided you the right to do so. SBI website says, "This is because your branch has not given you transaction rights." If you want the bank to allow online fund transfer, then ask or right to your branch for granting the facility. 

Netbanking has made life easier for people as they no longer need to face large queues at banks for completing many tasks - be it funds transfer, making online payments, doing online shopping etc.
