SBI UPI: The State Bank of India (SBI) has a number of facilities for its customers. The largest public sector lender in the country, time and again has developed certain features for the convenience of its customers. Due to this, the customers can enjoy hassle-free and smooth banking. Now, an SBI customer can enable or disable the UPI services of one's account simply by using Online SBI or YONO SBI.

SBI has recently tweeted regarding this facility from its official Twitter handle. The tweet said, "Want to enable/disable your UPI services in your account? You can easily do that via Online SBI or YONO SBI. Enjoy our online services from your comfort zone. Stay home, stay safe."

 

An SBI customer has to follow some simple steps in order to enable or disable the UPI service in one's account. In order to do so by means of net banking, one has to follow these steps:

Step 1: One has to login to SBI internet banking

Step 2: Then one has to open his or her Profile section

Step 3: Here one will find the Enable or Disable accounts for UPI option

Step 4: One has to simply click on the option

Step 5: Finally, one has to select the number and select the Enable or Disable option

The SBI Pay (UPI App of SBI) is a payment solution that allows account holders of Banks participating in UPI to send and receive money from their smart phones with a virtual payment address which is the identifier. No additional details are required to be used other than the Virtual payment address.

The UPI services have been very convenient for the SBI customers for making transactions during the COVID-19 lockdown situation.
