SBI Bill pay: The State Bank of India (SBI) gives its customers a facility to pay their bills using its YONO Lite App. The SBI customers can pay their electricity bills, telephone or mobile bills, insurance premium and also make donations through the SBI YONO Lite App. The customers can use options ‘View and Pay Bill’, ‘Pay without Bill’ and ‘Postpaid Bill Payment’.

How to make a bill payment?

The customers are required to register the billers through ‘Add Billers’ to whom they would like to make payment through ‘View and Pay Bill’ facility. Also they can use the options ‘Pay without Bill’ and ‘Postpaid Bill Payment’ under ‘Bill Payment’ menu to pay bills without adding billers.

Open the mobile banking application,choose settings and select Add Biller menu > Select Biller Location and category to get the list of Billers to whom payment can be made through our Mobile Banking.

Once the customer gets himself registered with the biller, he will receive the bill details on his mobile which would denote, apart from other things, the BILL ID. Please note to enter only this ID before any payment is made. Before making the payment the customers are advised to view the bill for noting the BILL ID and then proceed for payment.

SBI provides the facility to add a biller and bill payment free of cost. However, the customers will have to pay SMS charges to their provider as per the plan availed, the bank says. Please contact your Provider to know the exact cost for SMS.

How to stop receiving an electronic bill?

To stop receiving an electronic bill, the customers simply need to delete the biller from the list of billers.

Follow the steps below to delete a biller:

1) Select Bill Pay from the main menu
2) Select Add Billers
3) Select the biller you desire to delete from the list available
4) Select Delete from Menu.
5) Enter MPIN and initiate the delete request
6) Select Delete from Menu.

The App user will stop receiving electronic bills as soon as the biller updates the information, which would typically be from the next billing cycle.
