Punjab National Bank (PNB) is one of the leading public sector banks of India and till recently was India's second biggest bank. It has over 100 million customers. Like other banks, the PNB debit cards also provide access to bank ATMs for cash withdrawals, balance enquiry, mini statements and on-line electronic payment for purchases from your savings / current (individual) accounts. A PNB debit card remains valid for seven years from the date of issuance. However, there are certain limits and rules related to the debit card set up by the bank which you should keep in mind. PNB Classic Debit card, which is widely used, has a maximum daily cash withdrawal limit of Rs 25,000 at home bank ATMs while POS/E-commerce daily purchase limit is Rs 60,000.

Platinum/Woman Power Saver Debit card has a maximum daily cash withdrawal limit of Rs 50,000 at ATM.

POS/ECOM daily maximum limit: Rs 1,25,000

Master International Debit card has a maximum daily cash withdrawal limit of Rs 50,000 at ATM.

POS/ECOM daily maximum limit: Rs 1,25,000

Master Business Debit card has a maximum daily cash withdrawal limit of Rs 1,00,000 at ATM.

POS/ECOM daily maximum limit: Rs 3,00,000

Fee for the issuance of a debit card: 

PNB Debit Card is issued free of cost. However, a fee of Rs 100 per year will be levied after one year of Card issuance every year

Charges for use of the card for cash withdrawal: 

PNB allows five free ATM transactions per month. For transactions beyond this, the bank charges a maximum of Rs 20 per transaction.

Re-issue of card: 

PNB charges Rs 100 for the replacement of a lost card while no charge is levied in case of replacement of a damaged card.

Maximum withdrawal limit:

PNB cardholder can withdraw up to a maximum of Rs 15000 from PNB ATMs at a time and up to a maximum Rs 25000 for Classic Card and Rs 50000 for Platinum & International Card respectively during a day. For cash withdrawals at other bank ATMs, up to a maximum of Rs 10,000 can be withdrawn in a single transaction within the overall limit of the card.
