Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) Women's Rs 500 has been credited into their Jan Dhan account through direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme. This Rs 500 DBT benefit to the PMJDY account holding women is the second installment of the three PMJDY women's 500 rupee DBT in their Jan Dhan account. During Coronavirus lockdown, the Narendra Modi Government had announced to credit Rs 500 per month in next three months to help Jan Dhan women account holders to fight against Coronavirus. However, during the COVID-19 lockdown, the beneficiaries are confused about the DBT response status. For, such beneficiaries, they need not to go outside. They can check the status of credit online by logging in at official website of the Public Management Financial System — pfms.nic.in/NewDefaultHome.aspx.

The Narendra Modi Government has centralised the entire subsidy transfer through DBT system and for that there is Public Management Financial System that handles the entire money transfer system directly into the given bank account of the beneficiary. In case the beneficiary doesn't have the bank account, they are asked to open Jan Dhan Khata to get direct subsidy transfer into their account. It helps the beneficiary get the entire subsidy into their account without taking any help from the middle man, who may befool them and shun away with their money.

Here is the step by step guide to check credit status of your Jan Dhan khata, LPG subsidy, PM Kisan Samman Yojana or any other welfare scheme: 

1] Log in at official portal of Public Management Financial System — pfms.nic.in/NewDefaultHome.aspx; 

2] Click at 'Know Your Payments' on the home page; 

3] Fill in your bank name; 

4] Submit your bank account number; 

5] Submit CAPTCHA code; 

6] Click at 'search' option; 

7] The entire debit and credit history will appear on your computer monitor; 

8] This will help you know the latest money transfer in your account; 

9] Going at the latest money credit and date will confirm whether the money has credited in your Jan Dhan Khata, LPG subsidy, PM Kisan Samman Yojna or any other welfare scheme.
