PM Kisan Yojana: PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday transferred the 11th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The money has been transferred in over 10 cr accounts. The money was directly transferred into the account of these beneficiaries by the PM.

An amount of Rs 2000 has been transferred. The Prime Minister released the 11th installment of financial benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. This will enable the transfer of an amount of around Rs 21,000 crore to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmer families, a government release said.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister also interacted with the beneficiaries of (PM-KISAN) across the country. Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Rajendra Arlekar, Chief Minister of Himachal Shri Jai Ram Thakur, and Union Minister Shri Anurag Singh Thakur were among those present on the occasion in Shimla.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister expressed his happiness to be present in Himachal on this occasion of the government celebrating its 8th anniversary. He congratulated and wished the farmers as more than 10 crore farmers have received the money in their bank accounts through the PM Kisan scheme. 

Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare had announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 11th installment of PM Kisan Yojana on May 31, 2022. Under this scheme, more than 10 crore farmers will get financial benefits worth Rs 21,000 crore.
