PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 8th installment: Farmers are set to get their Holi gift. Modi government is likely to credit 8th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi into PM Kisan beneficiaries account around the festival. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is a Central government scheme that provides financial support to farmers through direct benefit transfer. Under the scheme, the government gives Rs 6,000 per year, in three equal installments, to marginal farmers. This annual financial support is given to farmers having combined land holding/ownership of up to 2 hectares. Since its inception in December 2018, the government has given seven installments to these farmers.

According to media reports, government will transfer the 8th instalments of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to farmers soon. Modi government is likely to transfer the amount in beneficiaries account around Holi, said india.com. Meanwhile, securing the interest of rightful beneficiaries, it is learnt that the government will be also removing the names of those farmers who are 'not eligible' for the scheme, said india.com.
Government of India bears 100% funding of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Definition of family for the scheme is husband, wife and minor children. State Government and UT administration identify the farmer families, which are eligible for support as per scheme guidelines. The fund is directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

Step 1 Go to PM Kisan official website: pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2 Click on 'Beneficiary Status' option in the 'Farmers Corner' section on top right of the website
Step 3 Select Aadhaar number, Bank account number or mobile number on the page that appears. With the help of these three numbers, you can also check if you have received the PK Kisan amount or not.
Step 4 Fill in the details of the option that you have selected from these three numbers
Step 5 You will get all transaction when you click on this number
