SBI Credit Card PIN Change: The State Bank of India (SBI) credit card users must know that they can easily generate or change the transaction PIN online. SBI Card has recently tweeted about this information from its official Twitter handle. In order to update the PIN, the SBI credit card users have to login to the official website of SBI Card at sbicard.com.

Recently, SBI Card has tweeted from its official Twitter handle, "Changing your SBI Credit Card PIN on the website is fast, simple, and safe! Log into sbicard.com/login."

 

The SBI credit card users must note that they can generate transaction PIN by using the website, mobile application, chatbot ILA or IVR.

In order to generate transaction PIN through Chatbot ILA, one has to follow these simple steps after logging in to Chatbot ILA:

Step1 : Ask query “How do I generate transaction PIN for my credit card”
Step2 : Click on ‘Update PIN’
Step3 : Enter the OTP and Click on ‘Submit’
Step4 : Enter the New PIN twice and Click on ‘Update PIN’

Now, to generate transaction PIN through the website, one has to follow some simple steps. They are as follows:

Step 1: Login to your online account and click on ‘My Account’ tab present on the left-hand side menu and follow these steps:-
Step 2: Click ‘Manage Pin’
Step 3: Select the card for which pin needs to be changed
Step 4: Click on ‘Generate OTP’
Step 5: Enter the OTP
Step 6: Enter the New PIN twice, and click submit

In order to generate transaction PIN through mobile app, the steps to be followed are:

Step 1: Login to your account and click on ‘Service Requests’ option present on the left-hand side menu and follow these steps:-
Step 2 : Click ‘Manage Pin’.
Step 3 : Select the card for which pin needs to be changed.
Step 4 : Click on ‘Generate OTP’.
Step 5 : Enter the OTP.
Step 6 : Enter the New PIN twice, and click submit.

Finally, to generate transaction PIN through IVR, the user has to call on SBI Card Customer Helpline number at 1860 180 1290 or 39 02 02 02 (Prefix local STD Code). The steps to be followed are as follows:

Step 1. Choose option ‘6’ to generate PIN
Step 2. Enter the 16-digit SBI card number, DOB in DD MM YYYY & Card expiry date in MM YY format
Step 3. Enter the 6-digit OTP received on your registered mobile number or email address
Step 4 . Choose a 4-digit PIN number and re-confirm
Step 5. You will get a confirmation message on the IVR itself
