HDFC Bank netbanking services were non-functional today for its customers. Those who tried to log in through their HDFC Bank netbanking usernames and passwords faced problems in accessing their accounts - the message displayed on their monitors said, "The NetBanking system is busy processing heavy load from currently logged in customers, request to try after some time." Noticing customers' problems while doing online banking, HDFC Bank issued a statement on Twitter blaming it all on a technical glitch.

HDFC Bank tweeted: "Due to a technical glitch, some of our customers have been having trouble logging into our NetBanking and MobileBanking App. Our experts are working on it on top priority, and we’re confident we’ll be able to restore services shortly. While we deeply regret the inconvenience caused, there’s no cause for undue concern."

HDFC Bank customers had to face problems since the afternoon while logging in through netbanking and through HDFC Bank App that forced the customers to slam the private banker on Twitter and other social media sites. "Tomorrow I have an EMI coming and I have to transfer funds....can I explain it to me how will I do it. Pathetic every month starting is ur drama!," tweeted Anant Mehra whose twitter id is @anantmehra80.

"Until now issue is not solved, m unable to login to netbanking and therefore not able to pay credit card bills. what a pity, so called no.1 bank's customer care has no update and team has no temporary solution to help customers @jagograhakjago @DeptConsumerAff," tweeted NP Bemia from its twitter ID @np_bemea.
