Gold and Silver Rate Today: A tremendous decline is being seen in the price of the yellow metal on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Saturday afternoon. The precious metal is trading below 1 per cent, however, it holds the psychologically important level of Rs 50,000 per 10 grams.

At 2:00 pm, Gold December's future is trading in red at Rs 50,280. The precious metal was down by 1.19 per cent. Likewise, Silver showed dullness too. The metal was trading below 3 percent on October 15 but manages to hold the levels of Rs 55,000 per kg. 

The Silver December futures were in red at Rs 55,290 per kg. The precious metal was down by 3.24 per cent.
