Gold Price Today: The metal gold is trading high on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Tuesday, November 29. The yellow metal crossed the level of Rs 53,000 and has become expensive by Rs 650 (approx) in the futures market in a week.

On last Tuesday i.e. November 22, the price of the precious metal was near Rs 52,445, which on November 29, today, has come around the level of 53,095. There has also been a big gain in the price of silver.

At 03:30 pm today, both metals were trading in green. Gold February's future quoted Rs 53,095 per 10 grams, up by 0.55 percent. Likewise, Silver showed brightness too. The metal was trading above 0.80 percent and crosses the level of Rs 62,000. The Silver March futures were at Rs 62,880 per kg, in the afternoon trade.

In the national capital, gold price fell Rs 101 to Rs 52,837 per 10 grams on Tuesday amid weak global trends, according to HDFC Securities. Silver, however, declined Rs 353 to Rs 61,744 per kilogram.

According to PTI, the precious metal had settled at Rs 52,938 per 10 grams in the previous trade.

"Gold fell to the lowest level in more than a week as the dollar rose from session lows on hawkish comments from members of the US Federal Reserve reiterating their fight against inflation," Senior VP - Commodity Research at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Navneet Damani said.

In the international market, gold was quoting lower at USD 1,753.25 per ounce while silver was down at USD 21.23 per ounce, said PTI.

"COMEX Gold declined amid overnight strength in the dollar index after a senior Federal Reserve official said that more rate hikes are coming. The strengthening greenback pushed the bullion lower amid concern over China's worsening Covid situation," Dilip Parmar, Research Analyst at HDFC Securities, said.
