Gold Price Today: A negative trend has been seen in the price of Gold and silver metal on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday, December 28. The price of the precious metal decreased by Rs 165 (approximately) compared to yesterday. However, it was seen comfortably hold the level of Rs 54,500 in the afternoon trade. Likewise, silver also declined in the futures market. Yesterday, the metal was trading near Rs 70,000, but is now (December 28) trading below 1 percent in the red.

Gold-Silver Price on MCX
At 4:30 pm today, both metals are trading in the red in the future market. Gold February's futures quoted Rs 54,685 per 10 grams, down by 0.57 percent. Whereas Silver March's futures traded at Rs 69,124 per kg. The metal was down by 0.97 on the third day of the week.

Gold-Silver Price Yesterday
On Tuesday, gold price rose Rs 173 to Rs 55,074 per 10 grams in the national capital. Whereas Silver gained Rs 926 to reach Rs 70,205 per kilogram, as per PTI.

Gold-Silver Price Globally
In the international market, gold was quoting lower at USD 1,807 per ounce, while silver was down at USD 23.93 per ounce, as per PTI report.
