Gold Price today, April 27:  After scaling 48,000-mark last week, gold has been trading around Rs 47,000 per 10 grams on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) for the past few days. On Monday, MCX gold June Future closed on Rs 47447 per 10-gram, down Rs 15.00 or -0.03% from previous closing. The precious metal was seen hovering between Rs 47,443 to Rs 47,469 during entire Monday's trading session, giving ample opportunity to buyers. Expert pegs its short-term target to be around Rs 48,500 and long-term target of Rs 50,000.

Meanwhile, International Gold prices were little changed on Tuesday ahead of the US Federal Reserve's monetary policy meeting, said a Reuters report. Spot gold was steady at $1,780.86 per ounce. "US gold futures GCv1 were little changed at $1,780.10 per ounce," it added.

In Hyderabad, gold price is Rs 44,590 for 22-carat and Rs 48,650 for 24-carat. Gold price in Kolkata is Rs 47,430 for 22-carat, and Rs 49,700 for 24-carat. Gold rate in Pune is Rs 44,940 for 22-carat and Rs 45,940 for 24-carat. In Nagpur, gold price is Rs 44,940 for 22-carat and Rs 45,940 for 24-carat.
