Fact Check: PIB Fact Check has tweeted about a new fake scam alert! The Press Information Bureau's official fact check Twitter handle 'PIB Fact Check' has alerted everyone about a new fake message circulating on mobile phones.

"A message in circulation claiming that your @TheOfficialSBI account has been blocked is #FAKE. #PIBFactCheck: Do not respond to emails/SMS asking to share your personal or banking details. If you receive any such message, report immediately at report.phishing@sbi.co.in," PIB Fact Check tweeted.

The PIB also added a link to the SBI's Cyber Cell in this tweet, which provides more information about this fraud message.
