EPFO Services on UMANG App: The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is providing several services on the UMANG app. Recently, in one of its tweets, EPFO urged its members to go paperless and save the trees.

The tweet from the official Twitter handle of EPFO said: "#GoGreen, #GoPaperless. Let's do our bit to #savetrees by saying no to use of paper & going #digital. Avail all the services of #EPFO on #UMANG App." 

 

EPFO services available on the UMANG app are as follows: 

1) Employee centric services that include view passbook, raise claim, track claim, UAN activation, UAN allotment, COVID-19 claim and Form 10 C. 

2) General services that include search establishment, search EPFO office, account details on SMS and missed calls 

3) Employer centric services that include get remittance details and get TRRN status 

4) Pensioner services that include passbook, jeevan praman submission and pension payment order download 

5) Aadhaar seeding that includes e-KYC services 

6) Register and track grievance services that include register of grievance, reminder sending and viewing status and feedback. 

It must be noted that the EPFO has time and again asked its members to file e-nomination for EPF and EPS. The EPFO has tweeted that the total number of e-nominations filed till September 2021 is 4,06,958. 

 

To file e-nomination for EPF/EPS online, the EPFO members must follow some simple steps. They have to login to the official website of EPFO at epfindia.gov.in. Then they have to select the 'Services' option, then they must select the 'For Employees' option and then the Member UAN/Online Service option and complete the process to file e-nomination.
