IFSC or Indian Financial System Code is an 11-digit code written in an alphanumeric format, and it identifies the branches in the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) network. This code is necessary for making digital transactions.

How to update your bank account details? You can do that in 5 easy steps:

1) Visit verified member portal - https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ - and login with your user id and password.
2) After logging in, click on the 'Manage' tab.
3) Then select KYC from the dropdown menu.
4) Select the options Bank Account Number, Name and IFSC code and click to save the information.
5) Once it gets approved by the employer, updated bank details will be visible in approved KYC section.
