The Employees Provident Fund Organisation or EPFO online service for employees and subscribers is there to allow them to remain updated about the latest Provident Fund related developments. In EPFO's latest development, the Provident Fund (PF) account holders have been asked to link their Aadhaar card number with the PF account and remain updated about the upcoming development in regard to the EPFO rules. Once, a PF account holder links Aadhaar card number with his or her PF account, he or she will start receiving the latest updates from EPFO. One can link one's Aadhaar card number with the PF account online by logging in at the epfindia.gov.in — the official website of the EPFO.

Speaking on the benefit of linking one's Aadhaar card number with one's PF account, Kartik Jhaveri, Director — Wealth Management at Transcend Consultants said, "The EPFO has begun its online services for the EPFO employees, EPFO subscribers and all other PF account holders. This online service would enable a PF account holder to remain updated about PF balance, PF contribution and all other new developments or changes in EPFO norms. However, to avail that EPFO online services, one needs to link one's Aadhaar card number with its PF account. Once, you do this, you will start receiving the latest developments in regard to the provident fund account and the EPFO norms in this regard."

As said earlier, one can link one's Aadhaar card number with PF account by following the below-mentioned step by step guide:

1] Log in at epfindia.gov.in;

2] Click at e-KYC Portal;

3] Click at link UAN Aadhaar;

4] Fill your UAN number and registered mobile number;

5] An OTP number will be sent on your registered mobile number;

6] Submit the OTP received on your registered mobile number;

7] Fill in your 12-digit Aadhaar number;

8] Click at the submit button followed by proceeding to the OTP button; and

9] Submit the OTP again received on your same registered mobile number and get your Aadhaar card number linked with your PF account finally.

So, follow the above-mentioned steps and get your PF account linked to your Aadhaar number.
