Step 1: Visit the EPFO portal. Click on the tab ‘Our Services’. Choose the option 'For Employees' from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Click on ‘member passbook’ under 'Services.'

Step 3: Now, enter UAN number and password after it has been activated.

Step 4: Select the ‘Member ID’. Click on the ‘View password’ option.

Step 5: The PF details will then be displayed on the screen.

Step 6: You may print this passbook by clicking on the ‘Download passbook’ option.

EPF passbook: PF balance using Umang App

Employees can check EPF balance using Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG) app on phones.

To access the app, one must complete a one-time registration using their UAN-registered phone number

Step 1: Download the UMANG app.

Step 2: On the homepage, select the 'EPFO' option listed under ‘All Services’ tab.

Step 3: Click on ‘ View passbook’ under ‘Employee Centric Service’
