The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC), responsible for administering Indirect Taxes in India Ministry of Finance, has issued an alert for GST taxpayers. This message is for those GST taxpayers who are under QRMP scheme. The CBIC has asked these taxpayers to deposit due tax liability for February 2021, before that last date, I.e. March 25.  The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs said that late payment will attract interest.

GST taxpayers covered under QRMP scheme must know that they will need form or challan/PMT-06 to complete the process.  

With the view to alert these taxpayers, CBIC took to Twitter and posted, " Attention GST Taxpayers who are under QRMP Scheme! Deposit due tax liability for February 2021 by using Form/Challan PMT-06 before the due date March 25, 2021."

For more details, these taxpayers can refer to the Notification number 82/2020- Cntral tax and Circular Number. 143/13/2020-GST dated 10-11-2020.

In another message on microblogging website Twitter, the CBIC also informed GST Taxpayers whose aggregate turnover exceeds Rs 50 crore that B2B supply of Goods or Services or both is mandatory for them from April 1.  

It said, " Attention GST Taxpayers whose aggregate turnover exceeds Rs.50 crore in a Financial Year! Generating E-Invoice for B2B supply of Goods or Services or both is mandatory w.e.f April 01, 2021."
