Change your address without a need for any address proof

If you do not have proof of your current address, you can still change the address by visiting the UIDAI website. You will have to apply for an address validation letter with the organisation. After completing this formality, a letter will be sent at your new address which will bear a secret code. You can then use that code to change your address in the Aadhaar card.

With the address validation facility, you can update the address of your family members, relatives, landlord or a friend.

Follow these steps to update the address
-- Visit the UIDAI website
-- Click on the 'update address' option
-- Now enter you 12 digit Aadhaar number
-- Click on OTP for text verification code
-- Now enter the OTP. Then click on the address option
-- Enter your new address and submit it
-- In case you want to modify anything, click on the 'Modify' option
-- Then click on the 'Declaration' option

Your address will be updated after completing this process.

You can visit the Aadhaar center to get your address updated.
