7th Pay Commission latest news today: It is nothing short of a dream come true! A massive salary can be ensured by making the right moves now. The Tariff Authority of Ports, Mumbai, a statutory body under the administrative control of Ministry of Shipping, Government of India has issued job notification inviting applications for the post of Assistant Director. In this notification there is just one vacancy and only the best will be selected. Significantly, the selected applicant will be given Level-10 grade. Pay Band for the selected candidate would be PB-3 i.e. Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100 plus grade pay of Rs 5,400. The selected candidate will get a pre-revised pay scale of Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. Method of recruitment as mentioned in the notification is transferred on a deputation basis failing which on a contractual basis. Eligibility Criteria

Transfer on deputation from amongst the employees under the Central or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking/Port Trust/ autonomous body of the statutory organisation. The applicant should hold an analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department. He or she should have at least three-year experience of regular service in the parent cadre or department in the PB-2 Pay Band. Applicant having a degree from a recognised university or equivalent preferably in commerce and accounts is a desirable qualification that the Tariff Authority of Posts would prefer.

Period of the contract if selected will be for one year initially, which may be extended to three years depending upon the requirement of the Authority. Interested candidates can forward their application through proper channel indicating clearly the name of the post applied for affixing a recent passport size photograph furnishing name in block letters.
