7th Pay Commission latest news: Indian Railways' Delhi division (DLI Division) has completed the RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment in record time. Under this recruitment, the Delhi Division will get 701 Assistant Loco Pilots. After the selection of these ALPs for this Railway division, other related process has been completed in just two days. These Assistant Loco Pilots have been recruited under the pay scale and pay matrix of the 7th Pay Commission.

According to reports, the service records of the newly recruited assistant loco pilots were prepared at the Officers Club on the State Entry Road in Delhi. All the requisite papers of the selected candidates were examined, and then their salary accounts were also opened. HRMS data of all these new employees was completed on the spot.

The orientation programme organized for these newly selected employees was presided over by Senior DPO Devendra Kumar, who informed these employees about the functioning of the Indian Railways and the Railway Service Conduct Rules.

The first two batches of these employees will be sent for training on October 26, 2019. These new recruits will join the service after completing their training. Notably, these employees will be entitled to get their salary during their training.

Notably, Indian Railways has issued orders to increase DA of their employees by as much as 5% to 17%, following the central government's dearness allowance (DA) hike announcement. Indian Railways extended the DA gift to its employees before the festival of Diwali, which is on Sunday, October 27.
