7th Pay Commission latest news: The Southern Railway Recruitment Cell is inviting application for Level-1 and Level-2 jobs. The jobs are meant for the Scouts & Guides only. The recruitment drive is against the Scouts & Guides quota for the year 2019-20. Two vacancies have been notified in Level-2 while 12 vacancies have been reported in Level-1 post. Applicants applying for both posts will have to submit a separate application and the examination fee for both posts. The last date for receipt of application is 3rd December 2019.

The applicant for the posts notified should be a President's  Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger or Himalayan Bridge Badge holder in any section. He or she should have been an active member of a Scouts organisation for the last five years. He or she should have attended at least two events at the National  Level or All India Railway's level and two events at the State level.

The candidates, who apply in response to the Southern Railway Recruitment Cell notification are found eligible for consideration for an appointment for the posts that fall under the 7th Pay Commission, will be assessed on the following basis:

Written Test (60 Marks)
The written test will consist of 40 objective questions (40 marks) and one essay type question that will carry 20 marks. The essay will be relating to Scouts & Guides organisation and its activities and general knowledge for Level-2 and Level-1 posts.

Marks on Certificates 40 Marks)
This section will comprise four different sections as follows:
1) Participation/Service rendered in National Events/National Jamboree (including all India Railway Events). Each section will carry 10 marks.
