7th Pay Commission latest news: Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, University of Delhi has issued notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in various streams. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online in the prescribed application format by logging in at colrec.du.ac.in. The total number of vacancies is 53 in various departments. After the successful completion of the recruitment process, the selected candidate will be appointed in the Academic Pay Level-10 of the 7th CPC pay matrix, plus usual allowances as per the 7th pay commission rules. Hence, the starting salary that a successful candidate can expect is Rs 56,100 per month. The last date for receipt of the online form is 6th February 2020.

The total number of vacancies notified is 53 in various departments like Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Electronics, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science and Zoology. The 53 vacancies are divided in the above-mentioned departments, which is as follows: Botany — 1 (UR), Chemistry — 1 (UR), Commerce — 12 (UR - 4, SC - 2, ST - 1, OBC - 3, EWS - 1 and PWVD - 1).

Eligibility & Qualification

The minimum essential qualification for appointment as  Assistant  Professor is Master’s degree with 55 per cent marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR (exemption from NET and having acquired Ph.D shall be granted in accordance with UGC Regulations).
