7th Pay Commission latest news: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued job notification for the post of  Scientific Officer (Pharmacognosy) at Pharmacopoeial Laboratory for Indian Medicine, Ghaziabad. An applicant post-successful completion of the recruitment process will be appointed in Level-10 of the 7th CPC (Central Pay Commission). Job offered is permanent in nature post-one year of successful probation period completion. The successful candidate will be appointed as Group 'A' Gazetted Officer under the Central Government.

7th Pay Commission Pay Scale
As mentioned earlier, after successful completion of the recruitment process the applicant will be entitled for the Level-10 7th CPC pay and perks. Means, he will be given a monthly salary from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500 plus Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and other 7th Pay commission perks.

Eligibility  Criteria
Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Botany or Pharmacy (with Pharmacognosy as the main subject) of a recognized University or equivalent and three years experience of drug analysis involving use of modern scientific instruments.

Doctorate degree relevant to Botany or Pharmacy (with Pharmacognosy as the main subject) from recognized University or Institute and experience in analysis and standardization of Indian Medicine are the desirable qualifications expected from the applicant.
