7th Pay Commission latest news: Tamil Nadu state government offices will have a work schedule of six days a week now. Orders in this regard has been implemented from 18th May 2020. The state government order says that during Coronavirus lockdown 50 per cent of the state government employees will come to perform their official duties now. The state government order says that there will be three rosters and each batch will be present in office on two days a week making it a six-day week. The state government order further says that state government offices will remain open from Monday to Saturday. Crucially, working hours per day will remain the same as it was in the previous arrangement and that means there will be no inconvenience faced by the public in accessing government services..

What Tamil Nadu Government Order Says

As mentioned above, the state government order says that there will be three rosters - means three batches of the state government employees present at work. First batch will come to office on Monday and Tuesday, second batch will come on Wednesday and Thursday while the remaining third batch will come to office on Friday and Saturday. Apart from this, the state government order says that those state government employees who are not in office can be asked to come to the office at any working time if needed.

However, heads of offices, Grade 'A' Officers 7th Pay Commission pay Level-25 to Level-32 will have to remain in office on all working days.

No DA payments for Tamil Nadu state government employees
