7th Pay Commission latest news: On account of deadly Chinese Coronavirus (COVID-19) spread, the Narendra Modi Government has announced one more relief for the Central Government employees after the Dearness Allowance (DA) announcement. The Central Government has announced the extension of the last date for submission of the Annual Performance Review Report (APAR) or self-appraisal deadline from 15th April 2020 to 30th June 2020.

In an Office Memorandum issued by the Commercial and Personal Training Department on 27th March 2020, the extension of the APAR deadline from 15th April 2020 to 30th June 2020 was announced. The Office Memorandum said that due to the spread of novel Coronavirus in India causing complete lockdown, the annual APAR recording deadline and other related activities needs a revision. Hence, the deadline for the APAR deadline has been revised from 15th April to 30th June 2020.

The Commercial and Personal Training issued Office Memorandum for the Group 'A' officers of the Central Government also. The Memorandum has increased the APAR deadline for the Group 'A' Officers of the Central Government from 31st March 2020 to 31st May 2020. Apart from that, the deadline self-appraisal report submission has been increased from 15th April to 30 June 2020 (wherever it's applicable).

The Office Memorandum by the Commercial and Personal Training further directs the various ministries and government offices that 'Divyangjan' or physically challenged should be exempted from their duties during the Coronavirus lockdown and their name should not be listed in the roaster during the lockdown.
