7th Pay Commission Sarkari Jobs: The National Highway Authority of India has notified 124 vacancies for the post of Deputy General Manager (DGM). Out of these 124 vacancies, 84 vacancies will be filled on a promotion basis while the rest 40 seats will be filled on a deputation basis. After successful completion of the recruitment process, the selected candidate will be appointed in Group A Gazetted rank in Level 12 position. The application can be sent online only by logging in at the official website of the NHAI — nhai.gov.in. The last date for receipt of the online application is 11th March 2020 while the last date for receipt of the printout of the online application is 26th March 2020.

After selection, an applicant will be given a 7th CPC pay matrix of Rs 78,800 to Rs 2,09,200 inclusive of other perks like Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA), Housing Rent Allowance (HRA), etc. So, a selected candidate will get the starting salary of Rs 78,800 plus various allowances as recommended by the 7th Pay Commission and approved by the Centre. Eligibility criteria

An applicant applying for the above-mentioned 7th CPC Sarkari jobs must be a Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognised university or institution. The applicant should have at least six years’ experience in the implementation of Infrastructure Sectors related to Highways, Roads and Bridges.

The last date for submission of Online application is 11th March 2020. Interested and eligible applicants can apply online by logging in at the NHAI website. Here is the step by step guide on how to apply online:

1] Clickmat the official website of the NHAI — nhai.gov.in;

2] Click at vacancies on the home page;

3] Click at 'Advertisements';

4] Click at 'Apply';

5] Generate new user ID and password;

6] Log in with the new user ID and password;

7] Fill the entire information sought in the online application form;

8] Submit the online form; and

9] Take a printout of the submitted online form for future reference.

After sending the online application, one needs to send the Print-out of Online application along with requisite documents from Parent Department. The last date for sending printout of the online form is 26th March 2020.
