7th Pay Commission latest news: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification for the 7th CPC vacancy for the post of Chief Design Engineer at the National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. After the successful completion of the recruitment process, the selected candidate will be appointed on probation for one year and after successful completion of the probation period, one would be taken on the payroll of the organisation availing pay and perks of the 7th pay commission. The selected candidate will be given Level-13 grade after the appointment and the last date for applying to the post is 2nd April 2020. 7th pay commission pay matrix

After completion of the recruitment process, the selected candidate will be given Level-13 grade in the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix. Means the initial salary for the selected candidate will be Rs 1,23,100 including various allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA), Housing Rent Allowance (HRA), etc.

Age Limit

The applicant should not exceed 50 years as on normal closing date i.e. 2nd April 2020. The upper age limit is relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government servant up to Five years as per instructions or orders issued by the Government of India from time to time. Essential Qualification

Interested candidate should have Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University or Institute or Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (Mechanical Engineering); twelve years’ experience of research work or practical experience in the field of Sugar Industries, designing of sugar machinery and equipment or chemical plants and experience of teaching Sugar Engineering as a Lecturer in a recognized Institution.

After completion of the recruitment process, the selected candidate will be appointed in General Central Service as Group A Gazetted officers and their job will be non-ministerial in nature.
