7th Pay Commission: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification for the post of Deputy Central Intelligence Officer (Technical) at the Intelligence Bureau. The total number of vacancies is 27 out of which 10 are reserved for UR category applicants, 3 for WES, 9 for OBC, 4 for SC and one for ST candidate. The UPSC notification further claims that the recruitment will be on a permanent basis after the successful completion of a year probation period. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by logging in at upsconline, nic.in — the official website of the UPSC. The last date for applying to the post notified by the UPSC at Intelligence Bureau is 16th January 2020.

Pay Scale
After successful completion of the recruitment process, the selected candidate will be appointed in Level-10 and he or she will be eligible for the 7th CPC pay matrix of Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. He or she will be getting an initial salary of Rs 56,100 plus DA, TA and other allowances as approved by the Central Government in the 7th pay commission.

Age Limit
The UPSC notification further notifies that an applicant should not be exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date of 16th January 2020. There will be 5 years of relaxation means not exceeding 40 Years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates. Similarly, in the case of an OBC candidate, he or she should not be exceeding 38 Years on the closing date of the online application receipt date. Age limit is relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant up to five years as per instructions/order issued by the Government of India from time to time. Educational Qualification
The applicant should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E. or B. Tech.) or B.Sc. (Engg.) awarded by a recognized University in the fields of Electronics or Electronics and Communication or Electronics and Telecommunication or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology or Software Engineering or Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers (AMIE) in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Graduate Ship awarded by Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers (AMIETE) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or Master of Science in Physics with Electronics or Telecommunication or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) after three years Bachelor of Science in Physics or Master of Science (Information Technology)or Master of Science (Computer Science)or Master of Science(Software) from a recognized University.
