ITR Refund: The Income Tax Department has announced that it has issued Income Tax Return (ITR) refund of over Rs 2,13,823 crore to more than 2.24 crore taxpayers between 1st April 2020 to 22nd March 2021. This claim of the Income Tax Department has come as a surprise to some of the taxpayers as they are still waiting for their ITR refund disbursal. While they are complaining about not receiving their ITR refund, the Income-Tax department has tweeted and advised such taxpayers waiting for their ITR refund to lodge their grievance from the given direct link — bit.ly/2YgCyk3. However, the Income-Tax Department also advised taxpayers to first check their ITR refund status at the direct link — tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/refund-status-pan.html before putting their ITR refund grievance.

It advised the taxpayers to log in with the direct link — bit.ly/2YgCyk3 and fill in the details sought there and submit. The taxpayers grievance will be registered and its ITR refund will hopefully come to its bank account as soon as possible for the Income Tax Department.

2] Enter your name, PAN details, Assessment Year, mobile number email ID, etc.;

3] Enter CAPTCHA;

4] Click on 'Submit' button; and

5] Your ITR refund grievance will get registered online.
