Banks will remain closed in all states except Tripura, Assam, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Shimla and Srinagar on Good Friday. In these states, banks will be open on Good Friday.

  • Banks had a total of 14 days in March in total. Following is the list:
  • Chapchar Kut: March 1
  • Mahashivratri (Maha vad-13)/Sivarathri: March 8
  • Bihar Divas: March 22
  • Holi (Second Day) - Dhuleti/Dol Jatra/Dhulandi: March 25

Next bank holiday: April 1

On April 1, to enable banks to close their yearly accounts, banks will remain closed in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Kohima, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Panaji, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Srinagar, and Thiruvananthapuram.

Banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days in April across various regions in India.
