Subros share price: Shares of Subros, the leading manufacturer of thermal products for automotive applications in India, rallied as much as 11.44 per cent to Rs 486.55 apiece on the BSE on Friday, a day after Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the draft notification to mandate the installation of air-conditioning systems in the cabins of trucks has been approved. The draft prepared includes trucks under categories N2 and N3, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari tweeted. The stock ended at Rs 460.55, up 5.49 per cent.

Subros manufactures compressors, condensers, heat exchangers and all connecting elements required to complete AC loop and caters to all segments viz. passenger vehicles, buses, trucks, refrigeration transport, off-roaders, residential air conditioners and railways.

At the time of writing this news, the stock was trading over 7 per cent higher at Rs 467.70 on the BSE. 

"Approved the draft notification to mandate the installation of air-conditioning systems in the cabins of trucks belonging to categories N2 and N3. Truck drivers play a crucial role in ensuring road safety," the Union minister for road, transport and highways said. 

This decision marks a significant milestone in providing comfortable working conditions for truck drivers, thereby improving their efficiency and addressing the problem of driver fatigue, Gadkari said.
