The Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) was trading 0.04 per cent higher at 17,672.5 levels at 08:09 AM on April 21, indicating a muted start for the domestic equities. That apart, weak global cues are also expected to weigh on investor sentiment.

Here's a look at the key stocks that may remain in focus today:

Reliance Industries: The oil-to-telecom behemoth is slated to announce its March quarter earnings later in the day. According to Zee Business Research, the company is estimated to report a 0.2 per cent sequential decline in its consolidated revenue at Rs 2,16,700 crore. The analysts peg RIL's quarterly profit at Rs 17,500 crore, which translates to an increase of 10.8 per cent on a sequential basis. 

Earnings today: Apart from RIL, 14 other companies are also scheduled to release their March quarter earnings today. The list includes names such as Hindustan Zinc (HZL), and Aditya Birla Money, among others. 

HCL Tech: The stock of the IT services firm will be on investors' radars today once the market opens. The company, unlike its peers TCS and Infosys, reported better results than expected. 

Cyient: The mid-tier IT company on Thursday posted a net profit of Rs 163 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2022-23, up  5.5 per cent YoY. The revenue from operations rose 30 per cent YoY to Rs 1,751.4 crore. Further, the company's board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 16 per equity share, on a par value of Rs 5 apiece, for FY23.

Oil-linked stocks are expected to trade actively today as crude oil prices slid by about $2 a barrel to their lowest level since late March on Thursday, dragged lower by fears a possible recession could dent fuel demand and after a rise in US gasoline inventories.

Vodafone Idea (Vi): Company on April 20 said that based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors of the Company has appointed Kumar Mangalam Birla, as an Additional Director (Non-Executive and Non-Independent) with effect from April 20, 2023. 

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy on Thursday reported a widening of its consolidated net loss to Rs 421 crore in the March quarter, mainly due to lower revenues. The consolidated net loss of the company was Rs 127 crore in the quarter ended on March 31, 2022, according to a regulatory filing. The revenue from operation slumped to Rs 88 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 1,071 crore a year ago.

PNB Housing Finance: As per bulk deals data, Goldman Sachs on Thursday sold about 5 lakh shares in PNB Housing Finance through open market transactions while Nippon India Mutual Fund has bought some stakes.

Siemens, RVNL: A consortium of Siemens and Rail Vikas Nigam has bagged two separate orders from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation. "Siemens Ltd, as part of a consortium along with Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, received two separate orders from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (GMRCL)," a BSE filing by Siemens stated.

Finolex Industries: The company, in its exchange filing on Thursday, informed that the company would set up a plant at the Urse facility, Pune to produce Optical Fibre Preforms as well as expand on its Fibre draw capacity. 

Oberoi Realty: The company, in its Q4 business update, said that it booked 207 during the March quarter against 181 units in the previous quarter. The booking value during the March quarter stood at Rs 6,023 crore against Rs 632 crore in the previous quarter.
