Indian shares are likely to open the May F&O series on a positive note. At 08:25 AM today (April 28, 2023), the Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) traded 0.46 per cent higher at 18,076 levels. Global cues, too, are likely to boost the sentiment. In the overnight trade, the tech-heavy Nasdaq led a Wall Street rally on Thursday as a strong quarterly report from Facebook parent Meta Platforms Inc overshadowed concerns over slowing US economic growth. In Asia, too, stocks surged in the early morning deals ahead of the Bank of Japan's policy decision.

Q4 earnings impact: Axis Bank, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, LTI Mindtree, and ACC, among others, are expected to trade actively in today's session as these companies released their March quarter numbers post-market hours on Thursday.
